Bar #056 is an eyeshadow palette from Dior’s permanent range, realised in Fall 2014. It won me over after testing it in store where every shade swatched creamy soft and the colour combinations looked perfect for a smokey eye look. However, after I bought it and have been using it for a while this palette proved to be a hit and miss for me.

Palais Royal is a permanent shade from Dior’s new “gel effect” nail polish range. This line replaced the old nail polishes introducing a new formula and a new brush.

From the moment I first laid my eyes on L’Adorée lipstick (limited edition shade from Chanel’s Spring 2014 collection) I new it was a “must have”. It reminded me of Rouge Coco in Culte, but for some reason that shade looked really bad on me. And even though I knew the shade of L’Adoree would also be hard to pull off, I’ve picked it up without even swatching it on my hand.

One of my favourites from Chanel’s 2014 spring collection Notes de Printemps is the eyeshadow duo in Rose Majeur. This is not a surprise as I’ve been a long time fan of their duos – the colour combinations are always great and the formula is soft and pigmented. This duo is no exception.

Chanel’s Notes de Printemps Collection has arrived and they have done an amazing job with it! I can’t decide whether I prefer the purple and pink hues of the eyeshadow duo, cream eyeshadows and Charivari nail polish, or strong bright colours of the new blushes, lipsticks and lip glosses.
