Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Mood Light

Due to high expectations, my relationship with Mood Light started on a rocky patch. I wanted to try the Ambient Lighting powders for ages, I loved the concept and read a bunch of reviews saying it’s great as a setting powder.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in #45 L’Adorée (LE)

Chanel Lipstick L'Adoree

From the moment I first laid my eyes on L’Adorée lipstick (limited edition shade from Chanel’s Spring 2014 collection) I new it was a “must have”. It reminded me of Rouge Coco in Culte, but for some reason that shade looked really bad on me. And even though I knew the shade of L’Adoree would also be hard to pull off, I’ve picked it up without even swatching it on my hand.

Chanel Ombres Contraste Eyeshadow Duo in #70 Rose Majeur

One of my favourites from Chanel’s 2014 spring collection Notes de Printemps is the eyeshadow duo in Rose Majeur. This is not a surprise as I’ve been a long time fan of their duos – the colour combinations are always great and the formula is soft and pigmented. This duo is no exception.

Chanel 2014 Spring Collection, Notes de Printemps

CHANEL Spring Collection 2014, Notes de Printemps

Chanel’s Notes de Printemps Collection has arrived and they have done an amazing job with it! I can’t decide whether I prefer the purple and pink hues of the eyeshadow duo, cream eyeshadows and Charivari nail polish, or strong bright colours of the new blushes, lipsticks and lip glosses.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Rockstar

Urban Decay, 24/7 Eyeliner, Rockstar, Waterproof

Rockstar is a dark eggplant colour, with a micro glitter that gives it more of a metallic finish then shimmer. The finish is very subtle as the colour is quite dark when applied. It is a bit of a chameleon shade, it can lean cool or warm depending on the lighting and how you pair it with an eyeshadow.

Released as a part of the Divine Night Collection, Lavish Living is a gorgeous plummy purple with a hint of brown and grey packed with silver glitter (I don’t see any gold in it!) that gives it a frost pearl like finish. In artificial light it has a beautiful multicolour micro glitter.
