Comparison Swatches: Finishing Powders

Illuminating finishing powders comparison swatches

I have finally managed to get some decent photos of my finishing powders yesterday, I’ve tried taking them twice so far but the weather in London just didn’t want to cooperate in the past few weeks! These are my favourite face products, I use them all a lot and rotate depending on the effect I would like to achieve on a particular day. I hope you’ll enjoy the comparison photos and find them useful!

Dolce & Gabbana Illuminator in shade #6 Shimmer

Dolce and Gabbana Illuminator Shimmer #6

It’s about time I write a review about this beauty. This D&G illuminator was a love at first sight. Even though it was one of my typical impulse buys, months after the purchase I’m still very happy with it.

Kevyn Aucoin sculpting powder

There aren’t many products on the beauty market created specifically for contouring. As someone with fair, cool-to-neutral toned complexion I opted for the lightest shade of the Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powders – Blondes 02.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation & Radiant Creamy Concealer

Nars Sheer Glow foundation & Radiant Creamy Concealer

I’ve been dreading the thought of this review for a while – it’s never fun to write a negative review. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything positive to say about these two products from Nars, so I’ll keep it short.

What I’m loving these days

Guerlain Burberry BobbiBrown Chanel MAC

Lately my daily makeup has been very simple as my skin feels and looks better when it’s warmer outside than during the winter. It doesn’t need as much coverage and colour to make it look healthy.
