Kiehl’s Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate
This fragrance-free 10.5% vitamin C serum is the star of this post. I absolutely love it. I’ve done a full review on it here and would gladly recommend it if you need a serum that will even out your skin, make it look fresh and plump.

Revlon Equave Detangling Shampoo (for all hair types)
This is a moisturising shampoo recommended especially for dry and damaged hair types. The shampoo has a light texture – it doesn’t irritate my scalp and it makes my hair softer and easier to manage. Also, it doesn’t make my hair heavy and it doesn’t make it oily.
This is actually my third bottle of this shampoo. I used to love it, but recently I noticed that it had become a little drying. I still think this is a great shampoo, it’s probably just my hair that needs a bit of a change.

Avène Hydrance Optimale Light Hydrating Cream
Recommended for normal to combination dehydrated sensitive skin, this is basic, paraben-free, hydrating moisturiser. It claims to have a lightly matifying effect on skin and a matt finish, but I haven’t noticed any of those. It is simply a nice, basic hydrating cream. I liked it, but didn’t love it, as even though it has “light” in its name, I find it a bit thick in texture and a little bit oily.

Mavala Nailactan Nail Nourishing Cream
Nailactan has been developed for “dry, brittle, soft, fragile and dull nails”. My nails have been brittle and breaking and splitting a lot in the past year. I chose this cream from Mavala as I consider them as one of the top brands when it comes to nail care. However, Nailactan was a complete waist of money. I used it regularly in the evenings but it did absolutely nothing for me. I would not recommend it.

The Body Shop Shea Body Butter
Even though I tried a fair amount of TBS products, they are often raved about in the beauty world, I’m still waiting to fall in love with one.
Shea Body Butter is probably the most loved and recommended in their body range. But I just find it average. The texture is thick, difficult to spread, and I find it mostly sits on my skin instead of sinking in.
I’m not crazy about the scent either. It’s a bit too neutral (and a bit nutty) and I just don’t find it very nice. I had a travel size of this product and would definitely skip buying the full size.
