I’ve been dreading the thought of this review for a while – it’s never fun to write a negative review. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything positive to say about these two products from Nars, so I’ll keep it short.
After a few days of testing a Nars Sheer Glow Liquid Foundation in Mont Blanc shade, I was very tempted to go back to SpaceNK and return it. I’m not even sure if this is possible to do in the UK, but this foundation performed so badly on me that I could not believe it is being sold as a foundation for dry skin. It is supposed to work on a normal, normal-to-dry and dry skin types and give you a smooth, glowing coverage. I don’t see any glow when I apply it, it dries to a matte finish. The texture is creamy, not sheer, and provides a medium-to-full coverage. It sets in every single pore on me and clings to dry patches.
When I was researching Nars Sheer Glow Foundation online to see if I can find a way for it to work on me, I found this great review – if I had seen it before my purchase I would definitely skip this foundation.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in shade Vanilla has great coverage, but the texture is on a heavy side making it impossible to apply to dry skin. The only way to make it work on me was to mix it with an eye cream or apply directly on top of an eye cream. That way it doesn’t look cakey and it doesn’t highlight the wrinkles under my eyes, but it does lose a coverage. As soon as you mix it with cream it doesn’t conceal that well. So I gave up on that one as well. Considering the price it is too much effort to make it work.

I know these two products are loved by many. For me, unfortunately, they’ve been a let down. If you have dry skin and consider buying these products, make sure you test them properly to avoid disappointment.
