I’ve been on a quest for a good eye cream for ages. Even though I’ve tried a number of products from low to a high price range I couldn’t find the one that really worked for me. My eye area is extremely sensitive and dry, so it’s very important to me that the eye cream really hydrates and that it doesn’t make my eyes puffy and watery. Who would think that this little eye cream from Origins would be a solution.
From origins.co.uk: Late night? Long flight? Look tired all the time? Prepare to become one of the perky people! Nature’s clinically-proven morning-after GinZing™ eye cream helps to reduce the look of dark circles. Unsightly bags and puffiness seem less visible. And Origins proprietary complex of Caffeine from Coffee bean, Panax Ginseng, Magnolia Extract and natural optic brighteners rapidly wakes up, refreshes and restores radiance to tired eyes.
Origins GinZing eye cream claims to refresh, brighten and de-puff tired eyes. It fails on its two main claims – brightening is only a cosmetic effect as the cream contains illuminating particles, and I haven’t noticed that it does anything for the puffy eyes. However, it’s incredibly moisturising. Dry skin is something I struggle with but with this cream I noticed the difference immediately – after only a single day of use I saw a difference in my eye area, my skin didn’t look or feel dry, it had better texture and looked fresh. Since then I’ve been using it almost daily and haven’t had any issues with dryness of my skin whatsoever.
The texture of the cream is light and easy to spread — it sinks well into the skin and it feels refreshing during the application. It sits very well under the makeup, it’s a perfect morning eye cream.

I love it and would recommend it if you need a good hydrating cream that will sit well under the makeup and protect your eye area from dryness. On the other hand, if you need something that will target puffy eyes and dark circles more seriously, this cream might not be enough.
