Mississippi Mermaid eyeshadow has been realised in the Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 collection. It’s one of the new, but limited edition, Cinematic Eyeshadows with a brand new formula.
Mississippi Mermaid is a pale champagne beige with a soft, frosty finish. It’s a very flattering and versatile shade – it can be used to highlight, all over the lids as a base to brighten up the eyes or combined with other eyeshadows. Over Urban Decay primer it lasts around 5 hours on me before it starts creasing.
The shade is packed with micro glitter which can cause a fallout. The soft brush works better with this formula and help avoid glitter ending up in the eyes.
The texture is pigmented and soft, it can be applied with fingers and it almost melts when touches the skin. The finish reminds me of some of the MAC eyeshadows, bellow are pictured Jest and Dazzlelight for comparison:

I’ve picked up this eyeshadow recently in my local SpaceNK but, if you like it hurry, they’re not gonna be around much longer!
